Pošta Slovenije issued a stamp (29 Jan 2021) in the series Contemporary Craftspeople of Slovenia featuring a motif from my Idrija lace necklace; design by Pavla BonÄa, photos by Gregor Grajzar. Prof. Dr. Janez Bogataj highlights bobbin lace’s modern creativity.

At London Fashion Week 2017, Deborah Milner’s Ecoture unveiled a couture dress featuring my original Idrija lace—Hokusai-inspired and handmade with fellow lacemakers. The eco-themed “Regenerating the Reef” show took place at SHOWstudio.
In the beginning of November I participated in „Zodiac Morphosis: Art&Fashion in the digital age“ event in Hong Kong. I was happy to see the audience took a lot of interest in my work, especially in the lacing technique itself, which seems to be rather unknown in Hong Kong and mainland China, in spite of their own rich textile tradition.

A sales exhibition of jewellery opened at Atelje Gallery (Gallusovo nabrežje 29). Created together with Macedonian designer Biljana (Bibi) Klekačkoska, it combines Idrija bobbin lace and filigree into a contemporary collection titled “Goddess Mother and the Dragon”.

Monograph Idrija Lace – A History Written in Thread was presented at Gewerkenegg Castle (20 Dec 2012). Conceived as a catalogue, it became a comprehensive volume by 12 authors; I wrote on the technological and design development of Idrija lace.
