A sales exhibition of jewellery opened at Atelje Gallery (Gallusovo nabrežje 29). Created together with Macedonian designer Biljana (Bibi) Klekačkoska, it combines Idrija bobbin lace and filigree into a contemporary collection titled “Goddess Mother and the Dragon”.

Monograph Idrija Lace – A History Written in Thread was presented at Gewerkenegg Castle (20 Dec 2012). Conceived as a catalogue, it became a comprehensive volume by 12 authors; I wrote on the technological and design development of Idrija lace.

Invited to Valtopina (Italy), I created the original lace “Nymph and Zephyr” for a fan on the theme of Air, inspired by Botticelli’s Primavera. The piece captures the scene’s motion with flowing lines; 50+ hours in silk, cotton, linen and metallic thread.

Taiwanese journalist Stacy Chen featured Tina Koder Grajzar’s contemporary Idrija lace in a new travel book on Slovenia and Croatia, bringing the tradition to Taiwanese readers and inviting them to discover Slovenia.
