Idrija, 18-th of June 2011
Last Saturday, Idrija hosted a magnificent fashion spectacle celebrating more than 300 years of Idrija lace tradition and Slovenian fashion. Among the invited designers was Tina Koder Grajzar, who presented two new creations. The event, the highlight of the 2011 Idrija Lace Festival, drew great enthusiasm from visitors, including several well-known public figures.
Tina presented two youthful evening creations from her Tattoo Collection. The relaxed designs were adorned with lace inspired by tattoo motifs. The close relationship between ink and skin was transformed into the connection between skin and lace structure, while preserving the symbolic meaning of tattoos—representing strength and psychological protection. The motifs of the anchor and butterfly symbolize hope, support, transformation, and new beginnings.
